WHAT IS DETOXIFICATION?

FAQ
-
We believe that everything should occur in cycles; moon, season, equinox & solstice etc therefore it is recommended you start the physical detox on full or new moon. Start Spiritual and Mental Preparation a minimum of 7 days prior to actual detox.
-
The detox is not a substitution for your medication, please consult with your primary physician about participating in the detox. If you are on any form of medication you must consult with your primary physician first.
-
We will provide a full list of items that you will need for your detox journey along with a timeline so that you will be adequately prepared.
-
Yes, this is a cleanse and while having normal bowel movement is a great thing, you will need to do a more intentional cleanse of your intestinal wall.
-
Try putting yourself in a very relaxing state, you can light a candle, play soothing music and breath deeply. You can also use a little bit of oil to lubricate the tip to help you with the process.
-
You can use Cayenne but only sparingly. Pepper in general causes inflammation
-
Yes. You may even find that your cycle is less painful and some women have reported that their cycle is lighter and less painful.
-
You can still participate but you will experience more detox symptoms.
-
Although, we hope that you don't...have grace with yourself. Don’t beat yourself up about falling off the detox, focus on getting back into the routine of the detox. This is a process to a better and healthier you, it may be difficult at times, but the goal is to continue and complete it.
-
No. Part of the purpose of this detox is to cleanse the body mentally, emotionally and physically including that which will alter your state of consciousness in any way.
-
No, depending on what your regular diet is you can actually do harm to yourself. We have created a special meal plan that will acclimate your body to your regular routine if you are not a vegan.
-
You are experiencing very normal detoxification symptoms. If this is your first detox, you may experience anywhere from one to three different cleansing reactions. Here are a few of the effects you may experience: Headaches, heavy breathing, flatulence, weakness, fever, shortness of breath, fatigue, skin eruptions, rising blood pressure, nightmares, no patience, mood swings, mental confusion, aches and pains, heavy bleeding during the menstrual cycle, depression, dizziness, vaginal discharges, blurred vision. These are all normal as the body cleanses itself. These reactions are the result of years of poor habits, consumption of unhealthy foods like fried foods, starches, refined sugars, meats, unhealthy fats, dairy products and emotional and mental blockages. These reactions can last for a couple hours up to a few days. The best way to handle any side effects is to drink water, get plenty of rest and meditation and use affirmations to ease your way through the detoxification process. If you are on a light vegetarian or vegan diet prior to the detox, the likelihood of any side effects are greatly reduced.
-
Caffeine should be eliminated from the diet. This is an opportunity to give your digestive systems time to rest and reset. If you need a short jolt of energy, a shot of wheatgrass can substitute as well as wheatgrass enema. By the 2nd phase of the detox you will have more energy anyway as well as have more focus.
-
Sprouting requires patience and perseverance. Keep trying.
-
We strongly recommend that you stop consuming alcoholic beverages before Spiritual/Mental Preparation begins for better results.
-
This detox is a holistic process, by journaling you are able to document your mental and physical journey through this detox. It may help you to realize certain patterns and habits that you were not conscious of and/or reframe your thoughts and actions.
-
As emotional as you allow it to be. Some are ready and able to release a lot, while others are still learning and may not be able to release as much or during the detox. The goal is to try and have grace with yourself during this process.
-
Some people may find different parts of the detox difficult or challenging. However, the important part is your approach and mindset. Coming into the detox to find the “hardest part” is self-defeating. You want to come in and take out words such as “deprivation” or anything with a defeating mindset. This is for your higher good, therefore, you should address as such.
-
Color therapy in general is important. The white keeps your energy light during our rituals.
-
Detoxification should not be taken whilst pregnant or breastfeeding.
-
Results are very individual. You can expect an increase in energy, more clarity of the mind - less mental ‘fog,’ healthy desires for more raw vegetables and fresh foods, more restful sleep, less unnecessary fluid retention and flatulence, brighter and clearer skin, a ‘glow’ from increased vitamin and nutrient intake, weight loss, vibrancy, a deeper connection to nature and your soul’s purpose. This is all dependent on how well you follow the program and where you are starting from.
