The rtk approach
This program is of the mind, body and spirit. As we know all things begin on the energetic plane, we must take a holistic approach to detoxification.
In ancient Egyptian philosophy, education and spirituality were interconnected. It was all one science. The Kemetic and ancient African way of life is a union of education, spiritual intention and physical health. It is important to remember that one aspect of our lives affects the totality of our being. This is why we take a holistic approach to detoxification. The mind and spirit are just as important to detox as the body.
A Closer Look at Detoxification
Practiced for many centuries around the world, detoxification is the process of cleansing the body to promote healing and longevity. The African approach relies on natural botanical and herbal remedies to cleanse and detoxify bringing the body back into its natural alkaline state. The goal is to induce an intra-cellular cleanse which is the cleansing of every cell in the body. We are aiming for a cellular reset and complete rejuvenation on a molecular level and within the spirit.
What happens to my body during detoxification?
Our bodies are self-healing. When given the proper tools to work with, it can restore itself to its natural balance. We allow the process of self-healing by eliminating toxins, heavy metals and mucus from the body. We do this by clearing toxic and mucus causing foods from our diet. Acid foods create mucus in the body which robs the body’s cells of oxygen and disrupt our pH levels. When this happens it can cause an overgrowth of bacteria and affect our immune system.
As we replace toxic foods with electric foods and medicinal herbs, we create an internal alkaline environment that allows healthy bacteria to flourish and manage hormone levels. While the body rids itself of mucus and toxins, the waste will dispose of itself through the holes in our body. This is because the alkaline environment goes in and breaks down the hard mucus substances in our body, layer by layer, and the hardened substances within us eventually soften and dislodge. It is then released through the major organs and areas of elimination of the body including the intestines, the skin, the mouth and even the eyes. This is another reason why exercise and sweating are important during a detox. While they increase the oxygen and blood flow throughout the body, they also release toxins and waste in an effective and consistent way during the detoxification process. As a result of maintaining an alkaline state in the body, microbiomes in the gut are rebalanced, fat in and around the organs are burned off allowing for proper function, yeast dies off in the body and heavy metals are released.
RENEWING THE SPIRIT
In sacred tradition we know that disease begins when something is not aligned or is spiritually broken. Disease is when the spirit is not at ease. Most often the community or tribe comes together through dance, prayer and ritual and is lead by the traditional healer to assist with the healing of the individual(s). In our modern society we are used to taking more individualized approaches or we try to rush the healing process with pharmaceutical drugs, quick fixes or by only addressing the symptoms. However, through the use of modern technology, we are now able reactivate the ways of our ancient ancestors and bring the “tribe” together by holding space collectively and guiding healing processes.
We know that when we realign and renew our spirt, we are better able to cope with pain, disappointment, loss and regeneration. Through our detox program you will be able to nourish your spirit through reflection, prayer, ritual and release.
