This is an often-repeated quote in various contexts on social media. But what does it mean? How did we come so far? On faith? Through pure grit & gristle?
Whatever that how is, we are in desperate need for it today. SPIRITUAL WARRIORSHIP: Exploration, Discovery & Rediscovery Saturday series served as the starter conversation - a place to get a handle on concepts. The workshop intensive is PROCESS: discerning what archetypes are showing up in your life and how you might need to show up for them.
Seen through a Western lens, warriorship is almost solely about violence, attack and counter-attack. But through an African lens, warriorship is transformation through conflict.

We're going to start with the Ajé from the Yoruba tradition. Ajé is divine feminine energy, rooted in ancestral power in African cosmology. Ajé is the presence of fierce maternal wisdom. She births, she protects and brings justice. In this session, we’ll explore how to live as a sacred force of correction in unjust systems.
You don’t fight for respect. You embody it.

SHAMBHALA
He entered the battle with no weapon—only stillness.

There is a warrior who never shouts. Who enters chaos with a soft step. This is the Shambhala warrior—a spiritual fighter trained not in warfare, but in presence. Here we’ll explore this way of being—the path of sacred presence, which undoes violence not with more violence, but with consciousness.
You were never meant to match their rage.

When no one else moves, Ogun does.

Dr RaShon, RootWomyn
Dr. RaShon is a certified Enneagram coach, trainer, and consultant. She is a practitioner of African Sacred Traditions with over four decades of experience working with individuals, groups, and organizations and has studied, trained, and worked in Africa, Brazil, Europe, the Caribbean, and the USA. As a daughter of OYA, her work involves assisting those amid significant transformation and change and supporting those who are committed to living with authenticity.

Dr RaShon trained at the Enneagram Institute under the tutelage of Don Riso, Russ Hudson, Lynda Roberts, and Michael Naylor, where she began her preparation as an Enneagram teacher. She is certified as an Enneagram coach, trainer and consultant through Ginger Lapid-Bogda’s—The Enneagram in Business; has been trained and mentored by Dr Margaret Smith—Enneagram Global—in Enneagram systems analysis; has completed all coursework in the Enneagram Narrative Tradition on both the teacher and coach tracks; And most recently has become an Enneagram Applications Certified Professional through Enneagram Georgia and the Atlanta Center for Wellness.
She is also the “Spiritual Mother,” mentor and guide to Co-Founder of RTK, Tony Khepera Heru.
