Three of us had just arrived; we were the last to arrive. After dinner and the introductions, we were out on the boat, all dressed up in white, for our opening ceremony. The spirit, coupled with the white dress code, the night, the people, and the lights each was holding, made it magical. We had to sit and walk according to our ages, oldest to youngest, which reminded me how we should never take for granted those who came before us, our elders, parents, and most importantly, our ancestors, those that we know and those that we do not know.
