Ingredients

  • Fresh (or dried) Rosemary – 1–2 handfuls (clarity, protection, clearing)

  • Fresh (or dried) Sage – 1–2 handfuls (deep purification and release)

  • Lemon peel – from 1 lemon (cuts old energetic cords, removes stagnant attachments)

  • Himalayan salt or Epson Salt– one or 2 handfuls (auric cleansing + grounding)

  • Dr. Teal’s Epsom Salt (Citrus or charcoal if you can find if not, go with your intuition)1–2 handfuls (body tension release, emotional detox, energetic reset)

  • Florida Water3–5 capfuls (refreshes the field, elevates vibration, clears spiritual heaviness)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Herbal Base

  1. Fill a pot with water.

  2. Add rosemary, sage, and lemon peel.

  3. Bring to a gentle boil for 10–15 minutes.

  4. Turn off the heat and let the herbs steep for 15–20 minutes.

This creates your purification concentrate.

2. Prepare Your Bath or Pour-Over

If taking a bath:

  • Strain the herbal water into your tub.

  • Add:

    • 1 or 2 handfuls of Himalayan salt or Epson

    • –5 capfuls of Florida Water

If doing a pour-over bath:

  • Pour herbal concentrate into a bowl or bucket.

  • Add the same ingredients above.

3. Spiritual Intention

Before stepping into the water (or pouring it over your body), speak:

“I release what no longer serves my life, my path, my lineage, my abundance.”

4. Final Steps

This bath invites prosperity into your field, harmonizes your energy with abundance, and supports the manifestation of your intentions.

✨ Ingredients

  • 2 tbsHoney

  • 5 pennies or copper/gold-looking coins

  • 1 Cinnamon Stick

  • handful Fresh Basil (Optional)

  • 1 Bay Leaf

  • Orange Peel

  • Pinch of Nutmeg (Optional)

  • Rose Petals or Rose Oil (Optional)

  • 2–3 Drops of money oil (or Cinnamon/Orange Oil) (Optional)

  • Splash of Milk

    Crystal Usage:

  • Place your prosperity crystals near the bath, not inside the water.

  • Citrine may be placed inside the bath if desired.

  • Do NOT place malachite in water.

✨ How to Prepare

  1. Create your herbal infusion:

    • In a pot, bring water to a gentle boil.

  2. Strain (optional):

  3. Prepare your bath water or bucket:

    • Pour the warm infusion into your bath or into a bowl/bucket for a pour-over bath.

  4. Add the remaining ingredients:

    • Add honey, stirring clockwise to invite sweetness and prosperity.

    • Add a splash of milk for nourishment and blessing.

    • Add nutmeg, rose petals or rose oil, and your chosen essential oil (cinnamon or orange).

    • Add coins

  5. Activate your intention:

A Road-Opening Offering to Exu | For Abundance, Alignment & Flow

The Padê is a traditional road-opening offering that clears the way for prosperity, removes energetic obstacles, and invites your blessings to flow with more ease. In this simplified and respectful version, we honor the spirit of Exu—the opener of pathways, the guardian of movement, communication, and opportunity.

ITEMS REQUIRED

Paper & Base

  • 1 sheet of office paper
    (Trace your right hand, cut it out)

  • 1 white plate

Padê Ingredients

  • 2 cups cassava flour (or corn flour/meal if you can’ find cassava)

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1 tsp crushed cloves

  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp ground nutmeg

  • 1 bay leaf

  • Honey (enough to bind into farofa)

Prosperity Elements

  • 21 coins (Any combination of coins)

  • Cinnamon (powder or stick) to rub on hands

  • red candle

  • white candle

Step-by-Step Ritual

1. Prepare the Hand Offering

  1. Trace your right hand on the sheet of paper.

  2. Cut out the hand shape.

  3. Turn the paper face down.

  4. On the fingers, write your requests:

    • Luck, love, prosperity, health, road opening, protection, etc.

  5. In the center of the palm, write your full name.

  6. Place the paper hand on your white plate.

2. Prepare the Padê Mixture

In a white bowl, combine:

  • 2 cups cassava flour or corn meal

  • Egg yolk

  • Cloves

  • Cinnamon

  • Nutmeg

Slowly add honey while mixing with your hands.

As you mix, speak your intentions and call respectfully:

“Exu open my roads. Bring prosperity, opportunity, movement, and good fortune.”

Feel your requests activating.

3. Assemble the Offering

  1. Place one bay leaf right on top of your name in the center of the paper hand.

  2. Spread the Padê farofa mixture over the entire hand, covering it completely.

  3. Place cinnamon on your hands, then pick up the 21 coins.

  4. Rub the coins together in your cinnamon-covered hands, charging them.

  5. Arrange the coins on top of the Padê mixture in whatever pattern feels aligned.

4. Light the Candle

  • Light the red candle as an offering to Exu

  • Light the white candle for clarity, purity of intention, and spiritual protection.

Place the offering close to the doorway, your closet, or in a reserved, undisturbed area.

How Long to Leave the Offering

Leave the offering for 3 to 5 days.

How to Dispose of the Offering

After 3–5 days:

  • Take the Padê (mixture) to a garden or natural space and return it to the earth.

  • Give the 21 coins away by:

    • Giving them directly to someone who is unhoused

    • Buying food, water, or something essential for someone in need

This completes the prosperity circuit — the road opens, you ask, you receive, and you give.
