Increase you intake of fresh and/or Organic fruits and vegetables.

Begin to start eliminating mental chatter, gossip, excessive social media and television use, start cleansing the thoughts and begin to bring more positivity and light into your routine thoughts.

Look ahead at the upcoming daily recipes to see what you might need to pick up from the store. To minimize costs, feel free to repeat your favorite days, but vary them and the recipes you use enough to keep things interesting!

Start eliminating processed foods from your diet. This is essential to allow all of the forthcoming nutrients to have a clean and renewed body to enter and do its work.

Reduce and Eliminate following:

Eliminate all Hot foods /peppers from diet (with the exception of Cayenne) Eliminate alcohol

Reduce salt intake

Reduce wheat, starch and gluten

*these items should be eliminated completely before the start of the detox.

Bring out your inner creativity and fluidity - meaning, be prepared to chef it up in the kitchen and work with what you have available in your area of the world, your budget and your favorite flavors.

Use this time to journal and document your mental journey through this process. We will share some items from our journal entries during our weekly catch up calls.

Most importantly, move from the mindset of ‘deprivation.’ This is a process of liberation and abundance - bringing you so much more with self-discipline and hard work. You’re liberating your liver, kidneys, bowels, and lymphatic system all from the toxins that weigh it down and weigh you down. You are committing to short term sacrifices for commitment to self-love, recognizing your self-worth as a divine being and welcoming a life of great health and vitality.

Begin to prepare your mind and spirit for the upcoming physical detoxification process. As our ancient ancestors have taught us, all things begin in the spirit realm. This is your opportunity to start aligning yourself energetically and spiritually.

Here are a few tips as we begin our detox process:

The second you wake up, give thanks for the day.
Check in with the body daily. Notice any aches and pains or feelings of heaviness or tension.
Set your intention for the day.
Take some deep breaths before you rise from the bed.
Practice active listening.
Pay attention to your thoughts, especially our inner saboteur.
And very importantly, be mindful as you eat your food. Be aware of what you eat and how you eat. Take notice of any taste, textures or sensations. Chew your food at least 32 times. Savor the flavor of your food. Research has found that the more mindful we are of how and what we eat, the better we digest our food.

PARASITE CLEANSE

During this preparatory period, it’s important to follow a balanced diet, high in fiber to support bowel movement and low in refined sugars, salts, and processed foods. It is also critically important that you increase your water intake. Whether you do the parasite cleanse or not, it is still recommended that you include the following anti-inflammatory herbs and spices in your diet over the following days: oregano, ginger, turmeric, and garlic.

Recommend herbs and supplements for the Parasite cleanse:

Wormwood tincture oregano oil
black walnut tincture clove/clove tincture Papaya seeds (Teaspoon) Grapefruit extract Propolis
Oregon Grape Olive Leaf

Use according to product instructions. Once again, if you are pregnant, suspect being pregnant or breastfeeding, avoid supplements and the parasite cleanse and talk to your doctor about detox protocols. Also, note that some supplements interact with prescription medications, so please discuss with your medical professional before beginning any detox regimen.

During this preparatory period, we also recommend you increase your Prebiotic foods to support good gut health.
The difference between Probiotics and Prebiotics: Probiotics are beneficial bacteria, and prebiotics are foods for these bacteria.

Prebiotic foods are high in special types of fiber that support digestive health, promote the increase of friendly bacteria, and may improve metabolic functions.
In order to get the best benefits, it is recommended that you consume your prebiotic foods raw, not cooked.

It has been suggested that intestinal parasites can be avoided by eating balanced amounts of both probiotics and prebiotics. This will ensure that you have the right balance of these bacteria to keep your gut healthy.

Recommended Prebiotics:

Chicory Root, Dandelion Greens, Jerusalem Artichoke, Garlic, Onions, Apples, Leeks Asparagus, Barley, Oats, Flaxseeds, Burdock Root, Jicama Root, Wheat bran, Seaweed

Determining Toxic LoaD QuestionNaire

Toxic load creates huge stressors to our immune system, other bodily systems and our mental and emotional state.  We want to minimize our toxic load to improve our overall  health and vitality. Just a few changes to our lifestyle can greatly reduce our toxic load. Detoxification is a great way to reduce our toxic load quickly and effectively - but must be followed up with a proactive maintenance diet. During the course of the detox you will experience detox symptoms that are directly related and proportional to our toxic load (this includes: headaches, nausea, bad breath, skin breakouts, increased sweating, etc.).
