WHAT IS TONING?

TONING is a form of sound healing that helps us heal on all levels, from our energy body to our cellular membrane. There are a multitude of types of sound-based meditation techniques. However, it has been found that using one’s voice can be the most effective, as the tones are sung. Our energy centers” unblock, clear, and realign during vocal toning, thus increasing circulation, energy, and vitality. This form of healing is effective in total mind, body, and spirit rejuvenation and relieving physical ailments.  It is also effective in reducing trauma and grief, addressing issues of shame, guilt, the feeling of powerlessness, and a closed heart.

THE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS KNEW ABOUT PERSONAL ACOUSTIC POWER. 

While the ancient Kemetic language omitted the use of vowels, the sacred acoustic sounds of vowels were used in ceremonies, rituals, and for healing. They believed that these sounds generated a harmonic resonance in the body that connected to various healing frequencies. They would use the power of their voice and breath to create therapeutic sounds. Also called “Heka or “Words of Power,” the ancients understood that a simple sound could reorganize the body’s cellular structure while sounds that are harmonious with nature activate the body and create healing.
